Teaching English

Reintroducing grammar
The spontaneous development of grammatical accuracy witnessed in the natural process of first language acquisition does not readily happen for most second language learners. While students certainly benefit from the use of communicative activities and tasks in the classroom, they consistently ask for more information about the grammar of English. The Oxford Practice Grammar series is designed to provide that information with the right balance of explanation and practice at three different levels appropriate to the individual student's needs.
