Actually, my firsthand experience of teaching drama to high school students whose native language is not English ehas shown that Literary texts are not 'dying' texts, rather they are living texts. For one thing, they are the cultural dose that should be instilled in Arabic speaking students who did not have the faintest notion about how literature works. In the class room acting might be very fruitful, with some props and equipment that can help students to show off their acting talent.eStudents can not be Macbeth or Lady Macbeth but they can make us feel they are by their acting gestures and working senses.
