Welcome to Teaching English!

The new global home for English teachers on the web brings together everything busy teachers need for the classroom and the staffroom - lesson plans, worksheets, teaching tips, articles as well as information about professional development, training, conferences and qualifications. Subscribe to our newsletter for regular updates on new content.

This site is still very much a work in progress and over the next few months we will continue to add new material and expand the functionality. We are very keen to get your feedback on any particular feature that you feel should be added or improved.

Guest Contibutor

We are very pleased to have Jane Willis as our second Guest Contributor. Jane will be providing a series of articles as well as keeping a blog and responding to comments and questions about her articles and getting involved in discussions across the site.

We also have a video interview with Jane about her teaching career and views on ELT issues.

Guest Teacher

Laxman

On the new Teaching English site we will have Guest Teachers as a regular feature.

Our second guest teacher is Laxman Gnawali from Nepal. Laxman will be keeping a blog, contributing to discussions and telling us about teaching in Nepal. You can read Laxman's biography and an interview with Laxman.

Are you interested in becoming a Guest teacher on Teaching English for a month? Find out more here.
